Recommended Usage & Application

  1. Mixing
    • Base : Activator = 16:1 by Volume: Weigh or measure activator precisely, then stir thoroughly for approximately 3 minutes.
    • Work Time: Two-hour pot life after mixing; use all product within this window for best results.
  2. Surface Preparation
    • Clean & Dry: Remove dirt, dust, and prior sealers; ensure surface is completely dry before application.
    • Avoid High Humidity: Slows cure and may cause milky or cloudy effects if moisture is trapped.
  3. Application Process
    • Roller Method: Use a foam roller, working quickly and evenly to avoid overlap marks.
    • Multiple Coats: Allow each layer to dry before applying the next; heavier coats yield higher gloss, thinner coats dry faster to a matte sheen.
  4. Final Coat (Optional)
    • MACt Seal Final Coat: If desired, mix with normal activator at the standard ratio, then apply a single thin layer for added water repellence.
    • No Additional Sealer: Final Coat cannot be topped with another layer of MACt Seal or a different sealer.
  5. Curing Guidelines
    • 24 Hours: For initial cross-linking and handle-ready durability.
    • 7 Days: Achieves full chemical resistance and hardness; avoid harsh use or cleaning within this period.
