Description

Lanotech Release Agent (2.9L, 5L, 20L, 200L )

Introducing the Lanotec Release Agent – the ultimate solution for achieving clean and easy release of concrete from formwork, precast, and tilt-up panels. This concentrated, lanolin-based release agent is a game-changer in the industry, offering a range of features and benefits that make it stand out from the rest.

Derived from natural and sustainable ingredients, the Lanotec Release Agent is a safe and environmentally friendly option for those who are looking to reduce their carbon footprint. It is safe for use in sensitive areas and waterways, making it an ideal choice for projects that require minimal environmental impact.

One of the key features of the Lanotec Release Agent is its ability to break concrete bonds, making it an essential component in achieving clean and easy release from moulds. It also protects tubes, jacks, and fittings from corrosion, as well as lubricating jacks and fittings, which can extend their lifespan. Furthermore, the Lanotec Release Agent protects equipment from concrete and paint overspray, which helps to reduce maintenance costs and downtime.

The Lanotec Release Agent is versatile and can be used on a range of surfaces, including PVC, fibreglass, polypropylene, rubbers, and polystyrene. This makes it a cost-effective option for projects that require different materials.

The Lanotec Release Agent is ideal for use on form surfaces such as steel, timber, plywood, PVC, rubber, polypropylene, plastic, and fibreglass. It is also perfect for use in environmentally sensitive areas and waterways, where the protection of machinery and equipment from concrete overspray is paramount.

Application of the Lanotec Release Agent is straightforward, and mixing ratios depend on the specific application. For concrete, mix at a ratio of 1:6 parts water when using as a formwork release agent, tilt panel bond breaker, or as a precast mould oil. For scaffolding, mix at a ratio of 1:4 parts water when using as a lubricant for jacks and fittings, or as spatter protection for tubes, jacks, fittings, and equipment.

Once the solution is mixed, apply a fine even coat with a quality sprayer and flush the sprayer with water only. For tilt panels, apply to the top of cured panels in two even diagonal opposing coats. In extreme heat, the panels can be sprayed with water before the Lanotec Release Agent is applied, which reduces the amount of release agent absorbed by the cured panel. If it rains after application, feel for a waxy surface and judge if further application is required.

When using the Lanotec Release Agent on formwork, continued use leaves the surface clean after stripping, with no cleaning required between pours. For best results, apply to the horizontal before erection (steel and aluminum) where practical. For precast, the product can be applied after setting polystyrene blockouts and does not affect polystyrene. If mopping the finish, use a new clean mop pre-soaked in Lanotec Release Agent. It is safe for fibreglass, PVC, polypropylene, and rubber moulds, including high performance for bullnose moulds.

Clean up is simple and easy, requiring immediate and thorough flushing with clean water while the material is still wet. Dried material may require sanding or grinding for removal. It is essential to avoid allowing the Lithium Hardener to come into contact with glass, fabric, metal, or painted surfaces. In case of contamination, wipe the contaminated surfaces with a damp cloth, then wipe dry with a second clean cloth.

Lanotec Release Agent should be kept in a cool, dry, well-ventilated place. It has a virtually indefinite shelf life if kept sealed in reasonable conditions. Once mixed with water, it should be used within two days.

Lanotec Release Agent has an approximate yield of 20-25sqm per litre of mixed product. Application rates necessary to optimize performance may vary depending on form condition and porosity, concrete composition and curing time, concrete build-up, and ambient temperature.

Lanotec Release Agent is a concentrated, lanolin-based concrete release agent that is safe for use on a range of surfaces. It is derived from natural, sustainable ingredients and is safe for use near environmentally sensitive areas and waterways. This release agent is perfect for formwork, precast, and tilt-up panels, and is specially formulated to break concrete bonds, protect machinery and equipment from concrete and paint overspray, lubricate jacks and fittings, and extend the life of timber and metal moulds. Lanotec Release Agent is easy to use and easy to clean up, making it an excellent choice for a wide range of construction and industrial projects.
