MACt Seal Final Coat
Introducing MACt Seal Final Coat – the ultimate solution for protecting your GFRC products from water and other contaminants. This two-component urethane acrylic hybrid twin system cross-linking resin system comes with an added final coat option that bonds a silicon repellent layer to your sealed product, giving you the best resistance for any of your GFRC products.
The final cured film is colorless and non-yellowing, so your sealed product will maintain its natural look even after multiple coatings. MACt Seal Final Coat has been specially developed to have very high scratch resistance and is resistant to a wide range of contaminants, making it the perfect choice for protecting your concrete basins, baths, and benchtops.
Mixing MACt Seal Final Coat is easy, with a base to activator ratio of 16:1 by volume. Simply weigh or measure out the correct activator amount for the base amount desired, add the activator and stir until fully dispersed. From the moment of adding the activator, you have approximately 2 hours of work time to use up all the product mixed. Apply multiple coats, allowing time between each coat for the film to dry. High humidity conditions will slow down the drying process. There is no need to back roller off the applied coat, but back rolling can be undertaken if desired.
Multiple heavy coats will produce a high gloss finish and take longer for the cure mechanism to finally cross-link the system. A few thin coats will cure faster but produce a matte finish. If you want to apply the MACt Final Coat option, mix it with the normal activator at the same ratio but only mix sufficient to coat the job ONCE. MACt Final Coat can only be applied as a final layer. Attempting to apply any sealer to this final coating will result in rejection of the application, and the job will need to be mechanically sanded back to the cement before reapplying the sealer system.
The special non-foaming formulation of MACt Seal Final Coat is designed to be laid down with the minimum of fuss using a foam roller. This system is user-friendly and quite user-tolerant. MACt Final Coat can only be applied as a single, final layer, so be sure to apply it at the end of your sealing process.
Allow 24 hours for the first cross-link reaction to take place and 7 days for final hardness to be achieved. Once your GFRC product is cured, it will have added water-repellant coatings that will give you the best resistance for any of your GFRC products. You’ll love the way it increases stain resistance, abrasion resistance, and shine on a polished surface when burnished. Plus, it’s UV stable and won’t yellow, so your sealed product will look great for years to come.
In conclusion, if you want to protect your GFRC products from water and other contaminants, MACt Seal Final Coat is the perfect solution. With its added water-repellant coatings and superior resistance to stains and abrasion, it will keep your concrete basins, baths, and benchtops looking great for years to come. Easy to mix and apply, this user-friendly system is the ultimate solution for protecting your GFRC products. So why wait? Try MACt Seal Final Coat today and experience the difference for yourself!
